Last month planning consent was granted for this magnificently designed home overlooking the sea in a stunning coastal location in north Cornwall. It was designed by the excellent CADarchitects.co.uk.
An existing 1980's bungalow currently on the site will be replaced by this super contemporary house with frame-less glass balconies, beautiful aluminium windows and a mixture of natural stone, render and slimline roman bricks. It will include a games and cinema room, an open plan kitchen, dining and living room and an external BBQ area, cabana and sauna.
Despite greater planning restrictions in many areas, this project proves that local planning authorities can be persuaded to approve well designed new homes, even in dream locations like the north Cornwall coast.
